Student Interns from Pratt Institute
The ORTO students were told that many of these creatures were not doing well because of human activity. As a people we needed to cultivate new ideas to make the world a better place for all creatures.
To encourage their thinking process they were asked to create imaginary creatures from ones they had learned about. They created the creature and told the class where it lived and what it liked and what it dreamed about.
The students watched their teachers and I and five students from NYC create our imaginary creatures. They were asked to help us create parts of the creatures. When finished they became their new playmates!
